If the Government of India is actually giving your CD to diplomats and VIPs as its souvenirs, you know you’ve made it. BAPU is a flutist but his music transcends and even aids in foreign policy and dialogue among nations. How’s that for achievement?

BAPU was born Bapu Padmanabha and grew up in Karnataka. As a youngster he discovered flute maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia and learned he was good at playing the flute as well. When he went to college, he finally met his idol and he became one of his favorite apprentices. BAPU would later be granted a Pana Devi Music Scholarship from no other than his guru.

From then, BAPU made great stride in the music community, attending various music festivals and showcasing his flair for the flute. Festivals such as OSHO Samadhi in Pune gave him the necessary exposure to excel and be known.

BAPU nowadays - besides being the Indian government’s party favor for diplomats and VIPs - has become a stalwart performer, composer, and provider of original music scores for Kannada movies. BAPU is a sought after musician playing meditation, relaxation, fusion, and other eclectic music genres with his flute.

With a name like JOE DRAGON, you’d think something will be unleashed and spew fire. JOE DRAGON is passionate, sure, but he’s a keyboard playing musician whose tunes are about eliciting calm. Yes, even dragons can be tame.

At six years old, JOE DRAGON started to learn to play the piano and though it was something his parents wanted him to do, eventually, he had learned that he’s great at it. To date, he plays the keyboard like crazy, finding ways to innovate and generate applause from its listeners. JOE studied composition and computer audio technology so he could be more hands-on with his music. And what he wants is tranquility, totally evident in what he does.

JOE’s influences are composers Kevin Kern and Joe Hisaish. But if you listen ever so closely, his music in minor scale is heavily Japanese. ‘Music should not be complex and loud, but should be simple and relaxing,’ Joe says. ‘I am also influenced by Minimalism and I believe that the melody should be concise, not boring’.

Ricardo Allan Kerr aka BUFFALO SOLDIER is from the Caribbean island of Tobago. At just nine years old, he already knew his passion and it’s music, what else. He became BUFFALO SOLDIER, a soldier of music if you will, with the desire to make better of things.

Inspired by the likes of Shaggy, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Peter Gabriel, James Brown, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, and Robbie Williams, BUFFALO SOLDIER has concocted a special-sounding music that’s truly his own. And then some: For with every track produced by this artist, he wants to reveal truths. ‘I wanted to highlight the dishonesty of politicians and leaders of nations’, Buffalo Soldier says. MELISSA OTERO releases her single ‘Angels and Demons’ arranged by Stefan Moessle of Secret Sounds. It’s dark, brooding and sexy one moment,  inspiring, tender, and naive on the next. This single has been featured in Sonicbids’ Indie Showcase on US Airways. Accompanied by hard work and a lot of touring, MELISSA OTERO is about to hit the mainstream and you WILL remember her name.

MELISSA OTERO was born in New Jersey, USA, but raise din Puerto Rico. After watching a fantastic homecoming concert from Gloria Estefan, the Latin music icon became her idol and she decided to be a performer right there and then. She trained under vocal coaches Sandra Quintana, Mike St. Pierre, and Don Lawrence, who has worked with stars like Lady Gaga and Whitney Houston. She also took acting, piano, and dance classes for over ten years.

With formal training, MELISSA OTERO became prepared but nothing will ever ready her for the work ahead. In 2006, she released the single ‘My First Everything’ and it was a number one hit for two weeks at Hot 96 in Portland, Oregon. In 2008, she had her first album ‘My Spirit’ which included track ‘10:41pm’ which became a hit in Europe, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Colombia. Karate America of Little Chute, WI and asked to go on her first tour as part of a benefit concert series for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. After successfully finishing this tour, Melissa continued to perform at local venues in New York City and New Jersey for the remainder of the year.

In 2010, MELISSA OTERO was a staple at music festivals, concerts, and more. She went to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Florida, New Jersey, and New York where she performed at festivals such as Pompano Beach Latin Fest, Carnaval de Loiza Aldea, Carnaval del Barrio, and PR Day Parade. In Miami, she met Clay Ostwald, who previously worked with Gloria Estefan, Melissa’s long-time idol and inspiration. 

With producer Ostward, MELISSA OTERO re-recorded her version of ‘Phantom of my Heart’ in English and Spanish, and it rocked the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Florida.

To date, MELISSA OTERO continues to carve a sultry and sexy path in music. She constantly works in Wisconsin, New Jersey, New York, and Europe. ‘Angels and Demons’ is just the start.
